New Installation at Bluntisham, Huntingdonshire

Preparing to install the wooden arch

Preparing to install the wooden arch

Everyone involved had a wonderful day fitting the Bluntisham artwork in place in the north porch of St Mary’s.

The artwork was designed by Cecily Marshall from Bluntisham, with Steve Eggleton working up the final version.  The carving of the many figures took place at the youth camp, Intents, and two workshops at St Mary’s.   Tom and Alex from Fincham’s Farm, and Jo Murray from Norwich helped to finish and paint the figures.  They were joined at Bluntisham by Steve Wright from Banham, and Will, a local farmer, who provided the scaffolding.
