Gentle walking on roads, tracks and paths crossing an old airfield site. Care needs to be taken because the route passes across several busy main road, particularly the A140 near Long Stratton.

Turn L onto Road . Past Park Wood Farm R down Whitehouse Lane on concrete road. At Junction turn L At Junction turn R (Forest plantation). L at PB turn onto Bedingham Corner. L onto Road . Turn R on Restricted byway Green Lane to Websdill Wood Keep straight on ignoring all signs L and R Reach concrete airfield road. Go straight ahead with Airfield Farm on R, take concrete Road to the L towards road. Join Barondole Road, Turn L At L hand bend on road, take R fork towards Long Stratton. L towards Hardwick “The Common”. PB right into wood, across bridge. (FP not in evidence). Cross field to road Lodge Farm, after bend Turn L on FP, across bridge and style. FP straight ahead. Across double style. Straight ahead across field, over style and bridge Through wood onto metalled road. Cross Hempnall/Starston Road Straight ahead, following “The Street” At Hardwick Village sign, turn L (Mill Road) At junction with “Anson’s Lane, take Field Path Along field margin towards wood. At corner, enter wood. Over bridge. Turn R, through trees. Join Boudica Way. Turn L at Car Park.Turn R through Tyrells Wood Follow Wood Lane to Junction. Turn R to main A140. Turn R
Cross A140 Walk towards bungalow. Turn L onto FP Take track between two fields. Turn R between field At fence turn L down verge Follow white posts Turn R then L , leaving hall on right track
(Grove Lane) Turn R at road. Turn R towards Wacton Past Fox and Hounds to South Moulton Guest House
