On Thursday 21st June Steve and Gill Eggleton and Keith Drewery set off early in the morning to install the art-work and benches at Leamington Hastings in Warwickshire.
The art-work was made by the Via Beata team from Banham. The painting on the figures was done by youngsters at ‘Intents’ Christian youth camp over the Pentecost weekend. It features words from St. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians “Speak to one another with Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord.” Most of the figures are based loosely upon portraits of the congregation.
The fixing of the art-works and benches went very smoothly. We had everything done by midday and then, having enjoyed lunch with Brian and Charmian Cooke, we set off on the journey home.

Wolfhamcote Church is a historic very beautiful serene redundant church on the route. We would like to be included as a Way Station

Dear Gill and Steve, A couple of years ago I cycled part of the Via Beata for my sabbatical and was fortunate to pop into your workshop whilst the carving of the 23rd Psalm was taking place. I am now planning another trip (a fundraising one this time) Lowerstoft to St David's and I wondered if you had any recommendations for accommodation along the route? I probably will average 50 miles a day, so am looking for accommodation around Little Stuckley, then 50 miles on from that. Any guidance would be appreciated!
